A skin biopsy was consistent with ILVEN (inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal nevus). Histopathologically, it can be difficult to distinguish it from linear psoriasis. It may respond to conventional anti-psoriatic therapies like potent topical corticosteroids applied under occlusion, or systemic treatments like acitretin.
