Pleural fluid analysis revealed it as chylous effusion. Radiological investigations revealed gross right side pleural effusion with partial collapse of right lung. After investigations, diagnosis of asymptomatic idiopathic chylothorax was made. Baby was treated with Inj. Octreotide alone. Pleural drain was not placed.
