Introduction
The Nepal Journal of Public Health (NJPH) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of public health. NJPH serves as a platform for researchers, and practitioners, to share their scientific findings, experiences, and perspectives on a wide range of public health issues so as to enhance understanding, inform policy, and improve public health practices. NJPH is committed to highlighting the role of public health in addressing health disparities, enhancing health education, and promoting sustainable health practices. The journal publishes scholarly papers/articles covering both theoretical and applied research in the area of public health and especially encourages submissions that explore innovative health interventions, implementation and policy research, and collaborative health initiatives.
The manuscripts submitted to the journal should not previously be published or accepted for publication elsewhere, either in full or part, either in English or other languages. Additionally, the authors have full responsibility for all views that are expressed in their articles.
Aim
The primary aim of the Nepal Journal of Public Health is to publish and disseminate novel and innovative research articles that contribute to the public health sciences, policies, practices, and outcomes. NJPH seeks to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, support evidence-based public health practice, and inform key stakeholders in decision making at local, national, and international levels.

NJPH covers a broad range of topics within the field of public health, including but not limited to:

Article processing charge
NJPH does not charge its authors for any type of submission, processing and publication fees.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts will undergo several stages of the review process:
Screening: Manuscripts will be assessed by one or more editors to determine if they fall within the scope of the journal and meet all submission requirements.
Peer Review: Double-blind peer review will be conducted to evaluate the quality, originality, and significance of the manuscript.
Copyediting: Manuscripts accepted for further consideration will undergo copyediting by one or more editors to ensure technical correctness and adherence to academic style.
Proofreading: Both desk editors and authors will perform proofreading to finalize the manuscript before publication.
Authors will receive feedback from the journal at each stage of the process, whether their manuscripts are rejected or accepted for further action. Manuscripts may be rejected at any stage during the review process.
Publication frequency
NJPH publishes two issues per year.
Open Access Policy
NJPH provides open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
The articles in NJPH are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator.

Copyright is transferred to the Nepal Journal of Public Health.
