dc.description.abstractBone scintigraphy being a highly sensitive modality is useful in the detection of skeletal metastases in cancer patients. The procedure does not pose any radiation risks to the patients. To improve the specificity of the modality, proper patient selection is important. This article explores the application of bone scintigraphy in detection of metastatic cancer with an insight about patient selection. Keywords: Bone Scan, Metastases, Tc99m-MDP, Malignancy
