Hypokalaemic quadriparesis

Abstract Amphoterecin B is nowadays being used frequently as a treatment for Kalazaar (visceral leishmaniasis). Hypokalaemia induced by amphoterecin B is a recognised adverse effect and a patient on amphoterecin B therapy may develop hypokalaemic quadriparesis.
